De Canadees\Nederlandse uitgever Lighthouse Interactive is failliet verklaard. Dit omdat het moederbedrijf en hun debiteur (die Lighthouse nog geld verschuldigd was) dit ook zijn.

"Dutch/Canadian videogame publisher, Lighthouse Interactive has officially been declared bankrupt. A spokesperson pointed out that due to the demise of its parent company Silverbirch Incorporated and the bankruptcy of its largest debtor Pinnacle Entertainment, Lighthouse was unable to carry on.

Lighthouse Interactive was sold to SilverBirch Inc in 2008 and was a wholly owned subsidiary. The company was best known for publishing many critically acclaimed PC titles including Ship Simulator, Sword of the Stars and Overclocked.
